Summary

Barrie’s mid-life crisis was to quit his secure and comfortable job as a Group Finance Director to launch Myriad. His wife thought he was mad, but Barrie thought it was now or never to begin a new adventure. Initially working from home, Barrie has grown Myriad to what it is today. His passion and drive to become a leading global tax incentive and grant bid writing consultancy business remains, and he has plenty of years left. He loves working with a highly talented team at Myriad who share his ethos of delivering client excellence.

Barrie is a qualified Accountant and Member in Practice with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants “CIMA” and Chartered Global Management Accountants “CGMA”.

When not busy leading and growing Myriad, Barrie enjoys spending time with his family and being Chairman of Welford Victoria FC. Barrie’s downtime is spent enjoying attending F1 and Le Mans 24 Hours (he has been eight times!)
