Launched in September 2017 by Myriad Associates, Tax Cloud is an online guided portal for research and development tax credits designed and developed to shake up the traditional tax consultancy industry. Tax Cloud was the product of over 12 months of software development combined with Myriad Associates’ extensive expertise in successfully claiming R&D tax relief for its clients.
The solution was designed for businesses that are eager to take advantage of R&D tax credits, but don’t have the time or resources to make a claim themselves or through a tax advisor. Tax Cloud has been specifically designed to guide SMEs through the R&D tax credit claim process in a simple, convenient, and cost-effective way.
Myriad Associates CEO, Barrie Dowsett, said “It’s a huge honour and achievement to be shortlisted for such a prestigious national award and fitting recognition of the team’s hard work in creating an innovative platform that has made R&D tax credits accessible to businesses and accounting practices.”
December year-end companies have until 30 June 2026 to submit the R&D Advance Notification Form. First-time and lapsed claimants must act now.
From 1 April 2024, the SME and RDEC schemes have been replaced by a single Merged Scheme. Find out how it works, what it pays, and what's changed for your claim.
HMRC's Targeted Advance Assurance pilot opens May 2026. Learn how eligible SMEs can get early guidance on R&D tax relief claims before they file.
